Middle School Christmas Party

Saturday, December 18

Where: Centerplex in Macon & Stevie B’s on Tom Hill Blvd.

Cost: $8 for skating plus money for food and games. Because of the increased activities & cost we will not be doing a white elephant gift exchange.

Registration: Contact Josh to let him know you will be going by Sunday, December 12. Friends are welcome to come, but be sure to let Josh know.

Christmas Shopping

Wednesday, December 22

Time: 9:00am-9:00 pm

Where: Mall of GA

Registration: Please contact Josh by Sunday, December 19 to register. Due to the nature of this trip we ask that this not be used as an outreach to invite new people. MOVE and the Christmas parties will be much better events for outreach. Non church members who attend or regularly visit are welcome to come. If in doubt, just ask first J

Groups: Students will stay in groups of 3-6 students approved by Josh. Each group needs at least one student with a cell phone. Should there be any desire to change groups this must first be approved by Josh. There are two primary reasons for this. 1. Safety. While on the trip it is our job as chaperones and leaders to keep the students safe and remaining in groups greatly helps with this. 2. Communication. Should there be an emergency it is important to be able to locate students. Having one contact person (Josh) who can get in contact with any student by knowing what group they are in and the cellphone number of at least one person in the group really helps.

It has three sessions filled with worship led by Fee, and great speakers (Tony Nolan, Marc Pritchet & Stuart Hall) on Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday Night. Its also a day of fun with PAINTBALL, flag football, dodgeball and much more to do during free time on Saturday morning and afternoon.

But wait, theres more: I failed to mention there will be a John Waller Concert and a spectacular fireworks show. Lastly, this thing is outdoors so you wont be stuck sitting int the bleachers like at Winter Jam, you will get right up there near the stage or enjoy a nice view from your lawn chair.
